SOLVEDby Intuit1Updated 1 year ago

There are two options for personalizing an engagement letter in Hub:

  • Use an existing engagement letter template
  • Create a new engagement letter

Use an existing engagement letter template

  1. Open ProFile.
  2. Select Hub from the Goto menu in the top toolbar. Hub opens, displaying a list of clients.
  3. Identify the client to whom you want to send an engagement letter. Click the Invite button associated with the client.
  4. The Invite Clients to Use Link window opens. Select the Edit link from the Engagement Letter option.
  5. The Engagement Letter window opens. Click the drop-down menu at the top of the window; a list of existing templates displays.
  6. Select the engagement letter template to send to the client.
  7. Additional edits can be made in the editing window. To save any changes, select Add above the editing window.
  8. Click Done. The letter is saved.
  9. Click the Invite button in the Invite Clients to Use Link window. The engagement letter is sent to the client.

Create a new engagement letter

  1. Navigate to the client list in Hub. Identify the client to whom you want to send an engagement letter.
  2. Click the Invite button associated with the client. The Invite Clients to Use Link window opens.
  3. Select the Edit link from the Engagement Letter option. The Edit Engagement Letter window displays.
  4. Edit the letter's content as needed.
  5. Click the Add button above the letter's content to save the engagement letter for future use.
  6. Enter the name of the new template.
  7. Click the OK button. The new template is saved in the menu and the content may be entered.
  8. Click the Done button. The template saves and will be available under the drop-down window when creating future engagement letters.
  9. Click the Invite button in the Invite Clients to Use Link window. The engagement letter is sent to the client.
