ProFile users encounter a "Connection failed" error when using Auto-Fill my Return (AFR)


When attempting to use AFR, the following error occurs:

The full error message reads "Connection failed. Please cancel this session and try again."


The return may be coupled with a "noname" return.

1. Change the marital status to "Married".

2. Select "Uncouple" from the "File" drop-down menu in the top toolbar.

3. Save both returns.

4. Change the marital status back to the original setting.

5. Undertake AFR again.

If the issue persists, contact ProFile Support for assistance.
