ProFile is certified twice per year by the CRA to provide the electronic filing option for T2 returns.
The supported year-ends are not controlled by the ProFile team as they have to be consistent with CRA certification periods. This requirement is mandatory for all software suppliers.
The chart below summarizes the certification months and corporation's year-end dates that are eligible to electronically file their returns. R1 and R5 refer to the version numbers of the software. For example, R1 in the 2022 tax year would be 2022.1; R5 would be 2022.5.
