T2SCH1 Net income (loss) for income tax purposes: Some lines not transmitted to CRA if file locked

In some instances, two lines of information in form T2SCH1 Net Income (Loss) for Income Tax Purposes (2016 and later tax years) is not transmitted to CRA if the file's locked value is activated.

The lines affected are:

• Line 295
• Line 395

Resolution

If any of the affected lines in the form are populated, unlock the file before EFILE or print barcode activity is taken.

1. Select the Properties option from the File drop-down menu in the top toolbar.

2. Make sure the Locked feature is not activated.

3. Select the OK button to save any changes.
4. Attempt EFILE; after file has been successfully transmitted, the file can be locked again and saved.
