Unable to enter EFILE Number and EFILE Password
When attempting to change the EFILE number and password, the following error message may appear: "Unable to exclusively lock the file used to store MRQ slips/Electronic filing from numbers. Try again?"
This message will continuously pop up whether "yes" or "no" is selected - using Task Manager is the only way to exit from the application.
This error occurs in certain environments if ProFile is not running as administrator. Right click on the ProFile shortcut (or exe file) and choose "Run as administrator". If prompted, enter the administrator?s credentials. Go to EFILE > Option and enter/change any pertinent information.
