Users encounter a "System Error. Code: 1722. The RPC Server is unavailable" error message

  1. Close all programs, restart your computer and test to see if the message recurs. If it does, continue with the below steps.
  2. Click the Windows logo button on the desktop and enter services.msc in the Open field.
  3. Click OK and click Continue on the User Account Control.
  4. Locate Print Spooler in the listing of services, right-click it and select Properties.
  5. Change the content of the Startup type field from Disabled to Automatic. If its already Automatic and services are stopped, click the Start button.
  6. Click Apply and click OK.
  7. Click Restart the service.
  8. Close the Services window and restart the computer.
