Use QB Assistant

QB Assistant is a bot that can answer your questions, provide troubleshooting steps, and give you information about your income, expenses, and more. Use QB Assistant if you want immediate assistance.

To access QB Assistant from your browser, go to Assistant. If you’re using the QuickBooks Self-Employed app, tap the + button, then select Ask QB Assistant.

1. From the Help menu:
   1. Go to Help (?) and select Contact us.
2. Or from the Assistant menu:
   1. Select Assistant.
      Note: If you’re using the QuickBooks Self-Employed app, tap the + button and select Ask QB Assistant.
   2. Enter "talk to a human", then select the enter icon.
   3. Select the options till you are prompted to choose a way to connect.
3. Select the way you want to connect with us:
   • Ask the community: Post your question to the QuickBooks Community or browse responses from experts and other customers.
   • Message an agent: Start a conversation with a support expert.
