Are there differect versions of QBO and if so how can i tell which version my client has. Also , i have a lot of US$ transactions, can i set up mukticurrency in QBO?
Hello again Dlmm324,
It looks like you managed to connect with your client using QuickBooks Online Accountant since the last time we spoke here in Community. That's great! Multicurrency is a useful feature that comes at no extra cost when with QuickBooks Online Essentials or Plus packages, as Lourdes pointed out. She's got you off to the perfect start with the information she shared, and I just have one other point I'd like to highlight to make sure you're good to go.
Telling which plan your client is on is going to depend on how they're being billed. If they're paying for their own QuickBooks Online subscription, you should be able to follow these steps in their account to see what plan they have.
Select the Gear icon.
Choose Account and settings.
Click the Billing and subscriptions tab.
There, you'll see a few tiles, one of which shows the information for the QuickBooks Online plan. It should say right on the tile which plan is active so you'll know if they have the option to turn on multicurrency or not. If they have an EasyStart plan, you can ask your client if they'd like to upgrade their subscription to a higher level. Since they're paying for it in this instance, it's best to have them make the decision. If you're not able to see the information I've noted above, ask your client to follow those steps and they can let you know what they have.
If your client is under your billing, you should be able to see the level of the plan in your billing section. Follow these steps in your QBOA account.
Select the Gear icon.
Choose Subscriptions and billing.
Review the details under the Your subscriptions tab.
You should also be able to make any account changes to client plans that you're paying for right in that section of the program.
Between Lourdes' response and this one, you should be good to go, but don't hesitate if you've got more questions! I've got your back. :)
