bank account in QBO

Welcome to the Community, rshiedat.

Ensuring your QuickBooks Online bank account balance matches your bank statement is important for maintaining accurate records. I’m here to guide you through the steps to resolve this.

To start, review your transactions in QuickBooks Online alongside your bank statement to identify any differences. For a detailed view, navigate to the chart of accounts. Here’s how:

  1. Go to Transactions from the left tab menu, then choose Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select your bank account and click View Register to review and adjust transactions as needed.

After reviewing your transactions, proceed with reconciling the account. In the Transactions tab, select Reconcile, then choose the account, and input the ending balance and date from your most recent bank statement. Match each transaction step by step to bring the balance into alignment.

Could you confirm whether your transactions in QuickBooks Online are imported manually or if you connected your bank account to QuickBooks Online for automatic transaction download? Please provide additional details so we can provide a tailored answer.
