can i change the start and end date for first pay period with a new company

If you're referring to changing the Fiscal year, we can modify it from the Acounts and Settings, Lee.

Please note that our only options are the First month of the fiscal year and the First month of the income tax year. Here's how:

1. Go to the Settings icon and select Accounts and Settings.
2. Choose the Advanced tab.
3. In the Accounting section, select your preferred month from the First month of fiscal year and First month of income tax year dropdowns.
4. Click Save, then Done.

But, if you are initially setting up payroll or haven't run payroll yet, we can change the pay period dates by going to the Pay Schedules section.

Here’s how you can adjust the dates:

1. Navigate the Payroll tab and select Employees.
2. Click Edit Payroll item.
   
3. Choose Pay schedules and click on it.
4. Click the Edit pencil icon.
   
5. Adjust the dates.
6. Click Save then Done.
   

However, if you're referring to the fiscal year, we can change it by heading to Accounts and Settings.
