Can i import a csv of expenses for my domain registration and associated monthly fees for the past 3 months?

Hi there, admin454. Yes, you can import your last 3 months of expenses and associated monthly fees into QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To begin, download the transactions as a CSV file in either the 3-column or 4-column format. Please note that the maximum file size is 350 KB. If the file exceeds this limit, try reducing the date range and downloading the transactions in smaller batches. Also, make sure the file is in the correct format to avoid any import issues.

Once your file is ready, you can import your expenses into QuickBooks Online by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to My Apps and open the Accounting dropdown.
  2. Select Bank Transactions, then choose a bank account.
  3. Click the dropdown arrow beside Link Account and select Upload from File.
  4. Drag and drop your file or manually select it from your device.
  5. In the QuickBooks Account dropdown, choose the account where you'd like to upload the transactions, and click Continue.
  6. Follow the prompts to match the columns in your file to the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then click Continue.
  7. Review the transactions you want to import and select Continue.
  8. Click Yes, then Done to finish the process.

You can check out this article to help you with categorizing your bank transactions after you've imported them: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
