Can I link my business QuickBooks to my accounting QuickBooks (I run a bookkeeping business)

Hi there, @Darby-kowalc.

Yes! You can easily link your QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) account to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) clients' accounts. In fact, QBOA is designed to help accountants manage and access their clients' QBO accounts seamlessly.

You can send a user invitation to your QBOA account from your QBO account. Follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Click the Gear icon and choose Manage users.

  3. Go to the Accounting Firms tab.
  4. Hit the Invite firm.
  5. Enter your accountant's email address.
  6. Click Send the invitation.

Your QBOA account will receive an email invitation to access your QBO company. After accepting the invitation, the status on the Manage Users page will update from Invited to Active.

Once linked, you can access your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account directly from your QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) dashboard. Simply click the GO TO QUICKBOOKS dropdown on the homepage and select the desired QBO account. See the sample screenshot below:

Don't hesitate to comment below if you have further questions about linking your QBOA and QBO account.
