It's important that your transactions show the correct dates. I'll be happy to share more info about this.
At this time, there isn't an option to change the dates on multiple transactions at once. You'd have to manually change the dates for each individual transaction. Let me know if you need help with that. I know how how useful this feature would be to you and I recommend send feed back about this to our product developers. You can do this by clicking the gear icon and looking for Feedback.

I’ve changed dates individually through “accountant” where date changed individually and saved. Better than going through each cheque again
