hi alan1226 ,

You have to purchase a 3rd party conversion service to downgrade your file. I noticed the cost are $225 for a standard service or $395 for an expedited one. PM your details to let me ask the vendor contact you directly.

Alan, Have you convert it? Did you use third party service? I have the same issue. Thanks

Yeah. I did.  The charge is not cheap but worth it.  I have been using it since then. No issue except backup will show some issues but Quickbooks can fix it.  Just a little bit annoying every time when I do back up.  Other than this, everything else is fine.

Hello modernstudio!

This is a great question and I want to make sure you have the information you need moving forward since you're planning on switching from QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise to QuickBooks Desktop Pro.

QuickBooks Desktop Canada doesn't currently have a merchant services program for new customers, but it did at one point. Customers who were a part of the Desktop Canada merchant services program were switched to First Data's system with CardPointe. If that's your situation, I recommend checking in with First Data to learn how your merchant account is linked to QuickBooks and what you can do since you want to switch from Enterprise. You can find details about the switch to First Data's system and contact details here: Changes to QuickBooks Desktop Merchant Services

If you happen to be a QuickBooks Desktop US or UK customer, you've stumbled into the Canadian community forum. Not to worry! I'll show you how to get to where you need to go. The best way to make sure you're in the section of community for your region is to take a look at the flag at the top of the community page. If it's not the one you need, simply click to change it. To post your question in the appropriate section of community, click QuickBooks Q&A, choose a topic area, then click Start a topic.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you need clarification about any of that.
