Hi, Empeureurentretien. Thanks for reaching out, and I appreciate you taking the time to watch a video and explore the option for recurring payments. The reason you’re not seeing this feature could be due to differences in subscription regions. The video may have shown steps or menu options specific to a different region or plan, which might not match your current subscription.

Here's how you can upgrade your QuickBooks Online subscription first:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary or company admin.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙, then select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Ensure your payment information is up to date.
  4. In the QuickBooks [subscription] section, select Upgrade your plan.
  5. Review the available plans and click Choose plan.
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the upgrade.

Once your plan is upgraded, follow these steps to create a recurring sales receipt for automatic customer payments:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Recurring transactions.
  2. Click New to create a new recurring transaction.
  3. From the Transaction Type ▼ dropdown, select Sales Receipt, and click OK.
  4. From the Type ▼ dropdown, select Scheduled.
  5. Select the customer’s name from the Customer ▼ dropdown.
  6. Set the interval, as well as the start and end date.
  7. From the Payment method ▼ dropdown, choose the appropriate payment option.
  8. Enter required product or service details. Once done, click Save template.
