How do i convert a QBB back up file to QBW?

I'm trying to integrate my quickbooks desktop with Dext Connect and the backup for the file is in .QBB but i require it to be .QBW to start the integration.

Please advise on how to go about that?

You just need to restore the backup file and QB will open it as QBW. Hit CTRL+1 and you will find the location of the QBW file.
