Hello b.faith.n,
I'm glad you've taken the time to post your question here in the Community. I'd be happy to explain how to disconnect your bank account from the Bank Feed.
The Bank Feed is a really useful tool if you'd like your transactions to automatically appear in your QuickBooks account. If you no longer wish to have connection to your bank or credit card account for automatic uploads, you can disconnect the account in a few short steps.
1. Click the Banking tab on the left menu.
2. Highlight the bank or credit card account you'd like to disconnect.
3. Click the small pencil icon on the account.
4. Select Edit account info.
5. Check off the box that says "Disconnect this account on save".
6. Click Save and Close.
Once you save those changes, your bank account will no longer automatically upload your transactions.
If you have any other questions about that, please let me know. I'm here to help.
Have a great day!
Hi there,
I followed your steps and it removed the Credit Card from my banking tab...rather than just disable the automatic uploads. Do you know how I can recover it?!?
Hey Theresar2, Thanks for reaching back out to us. You can reconnect your bank by Going to the Bookkeeping tab and selecting Transactions. Click on the Link account button in the top right corner. At this time, the only way to disable the bank uploads from coming in, would be to head to the Chart of accounts, find the bank you'd like to stop. Once you found the bank, click on the drop down arrow under the Action column and select Edit. Click on the box that says Disconnect on save. This will remove the bank from your banking page, but will remain in the Chart of accounts. If you'd like to connect the bank again, you can head to the Chart of accounts, find the bank and click on Edit, then Connect bank.
