How to move columns in credit card charges window?

Hi there Harp78,

Thanks for being a member of the QuickBooks family and for choosing QuickBooks Desktop Accountant edition to manage books for you and your clients! It's awesome that you're able to work with your clients in this way, and I know how the way information is organized on the screen can help with that process. I'll go over how this might have happened.

The option to move these columns is available when you're using the Enterprise edition of QuickBooks Desktop, but isn't available for the Premier edition, so it sounds like you may be using that version of the software. If that's the case, it's important to make sure that you're opening company file for Premier in a Premier edition since you can't go backwards.

To adjust the columns in the Enterprise edition, simply right click on the column header and then choose Customize Columns. This will take you to a window where you can add columns or move them up and down in the list to rearrange them on the screen. When they're in the order you'd like, click OK.

Give that a shot. If you did have a Premier file that was accidentally opened in Enterprise, getting another copy of the company file from your client and redoing the work in Premier. If you're not sure which version of QuickBooks Desktop you currently have open, press F2 on your keyboard to bring up the product details.

Let me know if you have more questions about that. I'm here to help!
