How to submit T4s to CRA via quickbooks online?

Hi there, gg71. You can use the CRA website to submit T4s easily, ensuring everything is filed securely and accurately. 

QuickBooks Online (QBO) lets you generate T4 forms, but submitting them for filing has to be completed outside the system.

Here’s how you can submit your T4s to the CRA:
 

1. Visit the CRA website and navigate to the Filing Information Returns Electronically page.
2. Select Internet file transfer, this is the only method supported by QuickBooks Online.
3. Review the Disclaimer and click I agree to proceed.
4. Enter your account number (without dashes or spaces) along with the case-sensitive Web access code provided by the CRA.
5. Click Next and browse your computer to locate the downloaded T4 XML file.
6. Upload the file to the CRA website and click Submit to complete your return.
