Hi, thanks for reaching out to the community.

Hi ofelia_laguit,
The QuickBooks Community welcomes you, and I'm sure you'll find a lot of support here. I can point you in the right direction.
The Retained Earnings come from all previous fiscal years' net profit/loss. QuickBooks Online electronically swaps the funds from your net income into the account. It doesn't record any visible transactions for it. Check out this article that explains how QuickBooks Online deals with your retained earnings: How to view Retained Earnings account details.
If you're still unsure, I suggest contacting out your Accountant. These types of closing entries are their specialty. If you don't have one, you can find one through this link: Find an Accountant.
You can always reach back out if you need further assistance. Take care.
