I just updated to Quickbooks Pro 2020 Canada and it freezes when I try to back it up, when bank transactions are imported and more.

Everything worked fine with 2019 version, I have a powerful computer system that meets requirements. Nothing changed except the update to 2020.

  1. Close all QuickBooks Desktop versions.
  2. Download the QuickBooks Refresher Tool.
  3. Save the file on your desktop.
  4. Run the QBRefresher tool.
  5. Re-open QuickBooks Desktop.
Also, make sure that QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest release.
