I want to run payroll on my account but I can’t have the option to add it, it says I need to manage my subscription even though I have Quickbooks online.

The manage my subscription message likely indicates that your QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't currently include a payroll service. That's why you're unable to add the payroll feature. I'll guide you on how you can add this, Evan.

 

With QuickBooks Payroll, you can easily set up payroll by accessing the Plans and pricing section. Once you're there, simply click the Add payroll button located at the right corner of the page. I've included screenshot for your reference:

Follow the outlined steps below:

  1. Sign in to your account as the primary admin.
  2. Go to Payroll, then select Overview.
