In the QBO app, on my expense summary, how do i obtain the transaction detail for the specific expenses category?

You can use a web browser on your phone and use the Expenses by Supplier Summary report to view the transaction details you need.

Currently, the QBO mobile app does not provide a direct way to view detailed transaction information for specific expense categories from the Expense Summary. As a workaround, you can open your QBO account using a web browser and pull up some expense reports.

The most relevant report you can use for this is the Expenses by Supplier Summary report. This provides a list of transaction details grouped by supplier for each category.

Here's how:

1. Navigate to Reports.
2. In the search box above, type in and open Expenses by Supplier Summary.
3. On the Total column, click the amount.

After that, you’ll be able to view and open the detailed transactions along with their associated categories, giving you clearer insights into your expenses.
