Is anyone able to import HSBC Personal Banking Transactions in QBO?

Hello userpanktimehta46,

The bank feeds feature in QuickBooks Online makes entering your income and expenses both fast and efficient. I know that having access to your transactions right from QuickBooks makes managing your business' books an easier process so I want to make sure you're able to do just that. Let me explore the next steps you can take to get the connection between your HSBC account and QuickBooks running so your transactions pull through as expected.

If you've previously connected your HSBC Personal Banking account within the bank feeds and the connection has been disrupted or you're receiving an error code, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve it. The first is to ensure that the images and files stored in your browser's cache aren't the cause of the issue. Please try the steps below and then attempt to connect your account within the bank feed again.

The next step you can try is to try accessing your online banking through your financial institution's web portal. If you're able to sign in successfully and have no notifications, alerts, or security requirements that might prevent you from connecting to QuickBooks Online, you can proceed to the next troubleshooting step. If you experience an issue accessing your online banking, it's best if you contact your financial institution regarding the next steps. They'll be able to point you in the right direction to get things back up and running.

Updating your bank info within QuickBooks is another important step. To do this, you'll simply need to access the Banking menu, then choose the tile for your HSBC account and hit the Edit pencil. Choose to Edit sign-in info and update it as necessary. If you're receiving a specific error code that's preventing you from connecting, the article below will provide you with the resources to troubleshoot specific codes and so much more:

It sounds like you're just attempting to manually import your transactions into QBO, and in that case, I'd be happy to point you in the right direction. We have a great article that provides all the necessary steps including how to choose a date range, what file type you should download from your bank, and how to manually upload the transactions. Please check it out: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online

If you've followed all of the steps above and you're still having difficulties importing your transactions or connecting to the bank feed, I'd suggest reaching out to our team of customer support experts outside of the community. It's possible that there's an existing issue being worked on by our engineers. In that case, an agent can collect some account details and have your name added to the list of affected users. Then you'll receive email updates when there's a fix. Here's how you can get in touch with our team:

I have just installed QuickBooks self-employed. I am unable to connect to the HSBC Canada account.

Also, I don't seem to be able to create an account and import CSV files?

Hi menonsh,

It's important to me that you can take advantage of the Online banking feature to automatically download your transactions in your books. If you're unable to connect your bank in QuickBooks Self-employed or manually upload your transactions using a CSV file after following the troubleshooting steps shared above, I'd recommend getting in touch with our tech support team outside of the community so we can take a closer look at your account and help you get back on track.

Don't hesitate to get in touch! We're here for you.

Is anyone able to import HSBC Personal Banking Transactions in QBO?

Hi my QBO account has been connected to an HSBC personal UK account for over a year.  Due to Open Banking the feed disconnects every 90 days and I have to reconnect inputting a generated code from my app.  I did this today and it seems to connect, then it cuts off saying that it has stopped syncing.  I haven't had this problem before.  I notice that you don't have HSBC PERSONAL in your list of linked banks - just HSBC Business banking.  Has the personal accounts stopped autofeeds?
