Welcome to the QuickBooks community! It sounds like QuickBooks Desktop Premier is working well for your business. I'll go over the options in this scenario.
Once you've updated your company file to a newer version of the software, there isn't a way to go backwards because the older version of the program won't be able to read the file any longer. I do have a suggestion for you though!
One thing you can consider if you were previously using the 2018 version is using a backup copy from that version to get back to work. It may mean manually entering some data that you've entered since moving to QuickBooks Desktop 2020, but it'll allow you to return to the version of the software you want.
You'd also need to reinstall the 2018 version of the program if you don't have it on your computer anymore. Make sure you have your license number from that version handy.
