Is the qb card reader available in Canada? If not, when? My business requires in-person chip transactions. I would love to eliminate integration with third party payment.

I am trying to integrate business mgmt software, payment processing (Square) and acctg (QBO). My average transaction exceeds $500 for vehicle servicing, so contactless payment doesn't work, and I must process the payment in person when the customer arrives before physically returning the vehicle. I can't give up my Square terminal until you have one.

Thank you for sharing details about your business needs. Currently, the QuickBooks Card Reader is unavailable in Canada. However, QuickBooks offers QuickBooks Payments that allows you to accept Visa, Mastercard, and bank payments directly through invoices sent to your customers.

Since you already use Square, you can continue using it for now, or you may want to consider exploring another third-party provider that offers a card reader compatible with QuickBooks integration.
