Past record recovery?

Hello andeva14,

Having access to all of your records is an important part of managing your books and I want to make sure you're able to find the information you need from QuickBooks Online.

All of the information you've entered into the program should be right at your fingertips each time you log in and it's a simple matter of finding it in your books. For instance, if you're looking for invoice records, I encourage you to check out the various sections in the Sales menu to find what you're looking for. You can also use tools like the magnifying glass icon at the top of your QuicKBooks account to search for transactions, names, amounts, and more.

With QuickBooks Online, you don't have to worry about backing up the data since the cloud is constantly backing it up for you. Check out this article to learn more: Do I need to back up my data with QuickBooks Online? That being said, there isn't a way to access those cloud backups. If that's the kind of feature you're looking for, I recommend checking out the Apps menu in your books to search through our partner apps that offer this service.

To get a hand with what you're looking for, feel free to reach out to support. An agent would be happy to go over your situation with you to make sure you have the data you need.

Past record recovery?

The problem seems to come from the fact that I have been using quickbooks app from apple store but when my 30 days expired and I was not offered the 70% discount, I purchased my subscription through the website and not through my app.
after they do not seem to talk to each other!

Past record recovery?

Gotcha. I appreciate the details about what's happened and I can explain what's going on.

When you're planning to subscribe after a trial of QuickBooks Online, it's important to do so directly through your existing account. When you go through the website instead, that creates an entirely new QuickBooks Online account and subscription. This is why you're not seeing the information from the trial in your new subscription.

At this point, you can cancel the new subscription and subscribe from the expired trial to have access to that old information. When you login to the expired trial account, you should be prompted right away to subscribe, so simply follow those steps. Here's an article that can walk you through cancelling the other account: Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription

For help with this and to learn if you're eligible for any discounts on your original account after subscribing, I recommend getting in touch with support via one of the methods I outlined in my original response to have an agent look into this for you.

I hope that helps.
