I am wondering if there is a way to see the Customer on the Purchase Order Reports. Customer doesn't appear in the Customization under either Rows/Columns or Filter so I am wondering if there is a way to see Customer anywhere on the PO Reports. Thanks!
Thanks for your question! I can help you see the customer chosen on your purchase order in the related reports.
Purchase orders are primarily a transaction between you and your supplier. As you've discovered, you can also include a customer on the transaction. On a purchase order report, you won't be able to filter by customer since the transaction is mainly geared toward suppliers. But don't worry, you can still see the customer you've added by pulling up the Open Purchase Orders Detail report. Follow these steps.
Choose Reports in the left menu.
Go to the Expenses and suppliers section and click Open Purchase Orders Detail (Tip: If you know the name of the report, simply use the search bar to bring it up!).
Click the Customize button at the top right.
Open up the Rows/Columns option.
Click Change columns.
Check the box beside Customer.
Click Run report.
You'll now have a column showing the customer on the report. The Open Purchase Order List report does not have this option.
