QBO crashes every time I try to edit a recurring invoice

Is this just me? If so, why might that be?

I have many recurring invoices and all have been working well for over a year. Until last week. Since then, every time I open one to edit it, quickbooks freezes and eventually I get a popup telling me the page is unresponsive.

I have tried deleting cookies and cache, two different browsers, an incognito window, and two different devices (a laptop, and a tablet).

I've also tried twice to get qbo to resolve this. The first time, I made it to second level support and it actually worked - for about an hour. when I tried to call back, the ticket had been closed and the agent knew none of the details of the first round, so had me go through the entire process again (which still didn't work).

Does anyone have insights either into this problem, or into how I can get customer support from qbo without having to go through the same long process a 3rd time? Is there a way to get back to the second level support without having to re-do the level 1support script that I've already done twice without any resolution?

Thanks.

PS - my apologies if this is posted elsewhere; I tried to post this a couple of days ago, but I can't find the post, so I assume I wasn't succesful in posting the first time.

QBO crashes every time I try to edit a recurring invoice

Thanks. I did get an email reply saying I would get an update by Thurs June 4th.

The problem is my next round of recurring invoices goes out on the 4th and because last invoicing cycle had a Monday stat holiday and the upcoming cycle has a Wed invoicing cycle, approximately 70 of my 192 invoices will need to be edited, as otherwise those clients will receive invoices that are either too big or too small by 12-25%.  What am I supposed to do if it's not fixed by then?

PS - to add to the issues I'm having with QBO, I get a Whitelabel Error Page when I try to login to the community in a regular google chrome window. I can login in safari but then got an authentication error when I tried to post this reply. I'm now trying in chrome incognito and hoping it will work.

You can manually create and send those 70 invoices for Wednesday and skip the next date on your recurring template to prevent duplicate invoices from being sent.

To skip it, go to the Gear icon in the top right of your screen, then Recurring transactions. From there, click the drop-down under the Actions column and choose Skip Next Date.

Since you are not able to log in to the Community page via a regular Chrome window or get an authentication error in Safari, please select the link in this article for each browser and follow the steps provided to clear your cache for a smooth experience: Clear your browser's cache
