Can a deactivated client be reinstated?

Welcome and thank you for posting here on the Community page, @sheena5.

Let me have the pleasure to help restore your deactivated client in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you're referring to making the inactive customer active again, yes, you can definitely do it in QBO. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QBO account.
  2. Click on Sales at the left pane.
  3. Select Customers.
  4. Click on the small gear icon above the Action column.
  5. Check the box beside Include inactive.
  6. Find the customer's name and click on Make Active under Action.

Once completed, you'll now be able to make the customer active again.

For further details, you may check this article: How to make a customer inactive and then active.

Keep me posted if you have any other questions about the steps provided or if you're referring to something else. I'm always available to help!
