I have entered all history payroll taxes and it still doesn’t show me what I owe for the month of July.. only half comes up in the tax centre... dates are correct and all amounts are correct.
The Journal entry is for QBO work around I don’t expect you to know any of that because you are not an accountant but the work around in QBO someone should know that?
Hi BLJ,
It's terrific to hear that you've stayed with a QuickBooks product and migrated to QuickBooks Online. I'm sure you'll love the mobility of your new program. I want to point you in the right direction to get your payroll taxes fixed up.
Confirm that you've followed the steps in these articles that go through setting up your payroll after migrating: What to do after converting from QuickBooks Desktop for Windows to QuickBooks Online; Set up payroll after converting from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online. If you've entered your historical payroll, you'll also need to input your historical payroll tax payments as well, and you can find the steps in this article: Enter historical payroll tax payments.
If it's a specific journal entry that you're looking I recommend contacting your accountant as this falls into their area of expertise. If you don't have one that you use, you can find one by going to My accountant on the left and then click Find a pro.
If you have any questions as you review the article, reach back out. Have a fantastic day!
