updating account with a new expiry date on a credit card

Welcome to the Community, Ottawa Douglas.

You can go to the Billing & Subscription tab to update the credit card's expiry date.

Log in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account as a Master or Company Admin using a web browser and follow the steps I've laid out below:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top and select Accounts and Settings in the pop-up window.
  2. Choose the Billing & Subscription tab on the left.
  3. Select the Edit icon next to Payment Method.
  4. Enter the expiry date or the complete credit card information and verify the billing address in QuickBooks Online is the same as the one shown on your statement.
  5. Hit Confirm card, then Save Changes.

You can now continue working in your QBO company.

For the detailed steps in updating the credit card information, please visit this article: Update the payment method or information for your subscription.

I'd also like to invite you to take a look at this article to lean more about the QBO settings: How do I set my advanced account settings?

It's my priority to provide the help you need, so please let me know if you need anything else. Enjoy your need.

updating account with a new expiry date on a credit card

Not able to get transactions to download following arrival of "new" credit card eff. June 30'21.  Card has the same number as the previous card but with a different expiry date (i.e. 08/2025 instead of 08/2021) and

new 3-digit number.

what must i edit (if anything) to start receiving the most recent credit card transactions?
