Urgent callback needed from a senior manager re: a $200 QB promo on my Intuit dashboard this fall. I met the $5K spend by Dec 31, but the rebate isn’t being honoured?

The promo on my dashboard even showed a countdown of how much was needed to go through my account to meet the $5,000 goal of payments coming through QB systems. So when I called customer service to enquire, they said there was no such promotion… and they asked if I had a screenshot to prove there was a promotion. Why would I have a screenshot of a promotion your system offered me? Which I honoured, but you're not? In fact, the same promotion showed up on my dashboard last spring, but I did not meet the criteria or deadline. This time I did. I've googled this issue, and it turns out I'm not alone. Other people have been victims of these QB promotions that are not honoured. I'm now not trusting QB at all... please advise?

Hi there, susie32.

I understand how disruptive it can be to consistently receive ads when they don't even exist. I'm here to help you resolve this issue.

To prevent unwanted advertisements and promotions, you can enable a pop-up blocker so you won't get these from appearing. Follow the steps below to enable it:

Google Chrome:

  1. Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
  2. Go to Settings and select Privacy and security, then Site Settings.
  3. Scroll down and click Pop-ups and redirects.
  4. Select "Don't allow sites to send pop-ups or use redirects" to enable the blocker globally

Microsoft Edge:

  1. Click the three dots (Settings and more) and then Settings.
  2. Go to Cookies, site permissions, and Pop-ups and redirects.
  3. Switch the Block toggle to On.

Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Click the menu icon (three lines), then Settings (or Preferences).
  2. Select Privacy & Security from the left menu.
  3. Scroll to the Permissions section and find "Block pop-up windows" to enable the blocker.

Safari:

  1. Open Safari and select "Safari" then "Settings" (or "Preferences").
  2. Go to the Websites tab.
  3. On the left-hand sidebar, click Pop-up Windows.
  4. At the bottom right, next to " When visiting other websites," select Block and Notify.
