The information that Intuit needs depends on your business type, Akbar.
If you're a Sole proprietorship, you are asked to provide the following info:
- Owner title (use Chief Executive Officer as owner title if none of the options apply to you)
- Government-issued ID
- Utility bill (alternatively, you can provide a statement for a bank account, a prepaid payment product account, a credit card account, or a loan account bearing the account holder’s name and address, which must match the information on the application)
For Private partnership:
- Co-owners: Name and address all individuals with 25% or more ownership of your business.
- A current and valid municipal, provincial, territorial, or federal government-issued document that contains the legal business name and address. These can include:
- Company/Corporate Profile Report
- Articles of Incorporation
- Certificate of Incorporation
- Partnership agreement or registration
- Business license (unexpired)
