If Sole Proprietorship isn't an option when updating your information with FINTRAC, you may want to consider changing your business structure in the Payroll settings, especially if you're using QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll and have not yet set up direct deposit, @Dana66.
Here's how to do it:
- Go to the Gear icon, then Payroll settings.
- Click the pencil icon in the Bank accounts section.
- Under About your business, select the pencil icon.
- Click the dropdown arrow and choose a Business type.

- Hit Save and continue.
