Having multiple access points for your QuickBooks Self-Employed account can be a great asset and give you options for working with your books. I'd be happy to go over the current options for you so you know what ways you can access your books.
QuickBooks Self-Employed currently has two access points: browser login and mobile app login. Using the browser login is as simple as following these steps:
- Go to qbo.ca.
- Hover over Sign In.
- Choose QuickBooks Self-Employed.
- Enter your login credentials.
Just like that, you'll be taken to your account so you can work on your books via the browser.
When it comes to the mobile app, first you'll want to download the QuickBooks Self-Employed app from your app store. Make sure it's the QuickBooks Self-Employed app as the other is for QuickBooks Online. Once you've got that downloaded and launched, click Sign In and then enter your login information to enter into the mobile app experience.
At this time, there isn't an app for your desktop computer or laptop for QuickBooks Self-Employed. That's a great idea though! I recommend sharing about it with the product development team by following these steps.
- Select the Assistant feature.
- Type and enter "feedback."
- Follow the prompts.
Doing this alerts the team to what features you'd like to see in the program and gives you the opportunity to share your voice and have it heard.
