In the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app, the quote icon, also called Estimate, is located under the + button or the Menu page.
To access it via the + button, tap on it, and you'll see Estimate at the bottom. Alternatively, if you're using the Menu button, navigate to the Sales & Get Paid section. From there, you'll find Estimates.
If you're unable to locate the quote option, I recommend checking the Google Play Store or App Store to ensure that you’re using the latest version of the QBO app. Outdated versions can sometimes cause compatibility issues.
Additionally, clearing the app’s data can refresh the system and resolve issues caused by outdated files. Follow the steps below to refresh the app data:
For Android:
- Open the Menu ☰, then tap More Options ⋮.
- Select Settings, then choose Refresh Data.
- Confirm by tapping Yes.
For iOS:
- Open the Menu ☰, then tap Settings.
- Choose Refresh Data.
- Tap Refresh Now.
If you’re using the QBO Desktop app, you can create a quote by following these steps:
- Click the + Create button in the left menu.
- Under the Customers section, select Estimate.
- Fill in the required information.
- Click Save and close.
