QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll includes powerful features, with an increased focus on giving you full control over your books. Writing a termination cheque can be done in just a few simple steps:

  1. Go to Employees.
  2. Select Run Payroll.
  3. Select the desired employee by checking the box beside their name and click Preview payroll.
  4. Select the edit pencil next to the Net Pay amount.
  5. Scroll down to find vacation Hours available to determine the remaining balance.
  6. Select Cancel to go back to the main payroll screen.

Hi there,  Thanks for the response.  I also need to implement Severence Pay, Payout Banked Time, Clear out Vacation time.  I think that I need someone to walk me through the steps in a little more depth.  Thanks, Deanna
