Good afternoon, Sandra!
Here's how to print a remittance slip for a bill payment:
This will generate a PDF you can print now or save to your computer for later.
Have a great day!
I cant see where QBO has an option for "Print Remittance Slip". I only see "Print check, Order checks and More" which includes "void, delete, transaction journal and audit history". Do you have a screen shot you can include for reference? I've been trying to figure out how to print a remittance slip for several years now.
CARLSCHNEIDER, I figured out a work around.
Run a bills and applied payments report and filter it to what you're looking for. It will print all bills/credits associated with that payment.
And how does one go about doing the same thing in QuickBooks Mac Desktop 2019? There does not seem to be any way to do this. This has been an ongoing issue for at least a decade. Clearly, someone at Intuit figured out this report is needed as it appears it's now available in QBO. How about the rest of us????
The bills and applied payments shows the original amount of the invoice, not the balance that was paid. If anyone has split invoices or has made partial payments this will not be an accurate representation of what amount was paid per invoice.
I have found that using the Bills and Applied Payments report in QBO to be a good work around for not having the ability to print a bill payment stub (like in desktop QB). Just filter the report for the vendor and the payment date- it will list the payment date, check number and all bills paid.
