I have never used the online QBs, and have no idea how to post credit card purchases that would be expenses for the company.

Follow these steps to record your credit card expense:
1. Click the + New icon.
2. Select Expense.
3. Enter your Payee, Payment account, Payment date, and Payment method (credit card).
4. Enter all other details.
5. Click Save and Close.
