I'm having problems paying bills directly from the Enter bill screen

I usually do it all the time but now suddenly it isn't working.  I have to save & close the bill, then go to Pay bills and look for the bill, then pay it.  Takes more time.

 

Why would that function just stop working?

 

Any idea how I can get it to work again?

If you're experiencing issues paying the bill directly from the Enter Bills screen, there's a few troubleshooting steps you can try. This may be a firewall that's blocking the program functionalities. If this issue has just arised, perhaps there was an update to the firewall. I'd also recommend testing other company files to see whether the problem is isolated to just one company, or all of them.

 

Here's how to open a new company file:

1. Go to the File menu.
2. Choose Close Company/Log off.
3. On the No Company Open screen, choose another company file and click Open or choose a Sample Company.

 

If the issue is only on one company file, you can check for data damage by following the steps listed here: Resolve data damage on your company file.
