SOLVEDby QuickBooksUpdated 1 year ago

This article covers the most frequently asked customer questions about bank payments for QuickBooks.

How long will it take for the QuickBooks merchant to receive my payment?

Typically, once you make your payment, it is deposited to the merchant’s bank account within 3-4 business days.

Why do I need to sign in to make a payment?

We recommend signing in to make your payment and to create an Intuit account. You can, however, select Continue as Guest instead of signing in, if you prefer.

Why do I need to create an Intuit account? What's the advantage?

We recommend creation of an Intuit account in order to enable you to easily log in and make your payments going forward. Once you create your Intuit account, when making a payment, you will not need to add the information about your bank account again because that information will already be stored.

Why do I need to provide my date of birth and occupation?

When we request this information, it is for the purpose of additional security.

I paid too much. How do I cancel my payment?

Contact the merchant to whom you sent the payment to request cancellation of your payment.

Why don't I see my bank listed?

We have pre-populated the bank connection screen with a list of top financial institutions. If your financial institution isn't listed, type the name of the financial institution in the search field and you should find yours listed.

Why wasn't my payment processed?

Payments can take 3-4 business days to be deposited to the merchant’s account.

If you have learned that your payment could not be processed, follow the instructions in the notification email to understand what you need to do next.

Can I pay a portion of my invoice?

The ability to modify your payment amount is not available at this time. By making your payment, the full amount of the invoice will be debited from your bank account.

Is the Merchant able to view my information when I connect my bank?

No. Your banking information is used for the purpose of processing the bank transfer and is not accessible by the merchant.

I see a debit in my bank account from INTUIT NANOPAY. What is nanopay?

nanopay processes bank-to-bank transfers and is Intuit’s trusted partner for the processing of payments using bank payments.
