CO-1029.8.36.SM and CO-1029.8.36.TM - Tax Credit for Multimedia Titles (2014-09) are out of date

Known Issue: The CO-17 forms CO-1029.8.36.SM - Tax Credit for the Production of Performances (2014-09) and CO-1029.8.36.TM - Tax Credit for Multimedia Titles (2014-09) are out of date and cannot be filed in their current format. At this time, the forms currently in ProFile can only be used as worksheets.

Workaround:
To claim the tax credit on these forms, calculate the credit using the (2015-09) version of the forms posted on the RQ website (see below), and manually override the credit on the QCredits worksheet at Code 43 for CO-1029.8.36.SM, and at Code 12 for CO-1029.8.36.TM.

Attach a copy of the CO-1029.8.36.SM and CO-1029.8.36.TM separately to your CO-17 return. If filing electronically, you may attach the form to your return as a hyperdoc.  If filing by paper, include a printed copy of the form with your CO-17 return.

You may find the forms here:

.TM form:

http://www.revenuquebec.ca/fr/sepf/formulaires/co/co-1029_8_36_tm.aspx

.SM form:

http://www.revenuquebec.ca/fr/sepf/formulaires/co/co-1029_8_36_sm.aspx

The updated (2015-09) versions will be available in a future release. At that time, they will be certified to the newest version and will be available for filing.
