Transfer donation of shares (T1170 gifts) from S3details to T1170

To link the data for transter of donations of shares (T1170 gifts) from S3details to T1170:

1. Open the T1 tax return in ProFile.
2. Press the F4 key, type form name S3details, and press Enter to display the S3details screen.
3. Select the transaction type 3c. Mutual fund/shares (T1170 gifts).
4. Enter the applicable data for donation of shares such as proceeds of disposition, adjusted cost base etc.

The appropriate information for donation of shares will now show on schedule T1170.
