Set company or team member clock in and out reminders in QuickBooks Time

Notes:

  • You must be an account administrator to manage these settings. If not, you can manage your own settings. See How to Change Your Clock-in and Clock-out Reminders.
  • For team member to receive text reminders, the account administrator must install the text messaging add-on. See How to Install and Uninstall Add-ons.
  • If notifications are set to send via both SMS and push, only a push notification will be sent to the team members' mobile devices.
  • If both SMS and push notifications are set by a team member, they will receive both types.

To set reminder times, days, and methods:

For All Team Members

  1. Go to Company Settings.
  2. Select Notifications, make your choices, and select Save.

For Individual Team Members

  1. Go to My Team.
  2. Select a team member.
  3. In the team member Details window, select Notifications.
  4. Make your choices, and select Save.
