Set clock in and out reminders in QuickBooks Time

Learn how to set up your company or team member clock-in and clock-out reminders in QuickBooks Time.

Notes:

  • Only account admins can manage these settings. If not, you can manage your own settings.
  • For team members to receive text reminders, the account administrator must install the text messaging add-on. Learn how to Install and uninstall add-ons for QuickBooks Time.
  • If notifications are set to send via both SMS and push, only a push notification will be sent to the team members' mobile devices.
  • If both SMS and push notifications are set by a team member, they will receive both types.


Set reminders

For all team members

  1. In QuickBooks Time, select Company Settings.
  2. Select Notifications, make your changes, and select Save.

For individual team members

  1. In QuickBooks Time, select My Team.
  2. Select a team member, then select Notifications.
  3. Make your changes, and select Save.
