What is the best way to connect to PayPal so that we get both PayPal sales (deposits) transactions and PayPal refunds (withdrawals) transferred to QB?

The best way to connect to PayPal is to integrate it using PayPal Connector by QuickBooks. Once connected, you'll be able to upload your transactions, including sales, fees, purchases, and transfers, and add them to your books. Here's how:

1. Go to Apps.
2. Select Find apps.
3. Enter 'PayPal' in the Search field and select it once it appears.
4. Choose Get app now and follow the on-screen steps.

Since you've connected it as a bank account, all transactions should have shown in your Pending/For review section, including refunds, withdrawals, etc. 

With that in mind, you can click the Update button in the Bank transactions section to trigger the system to download the transactions of your PayPal account.
