In QuickBooks Online (QBO), users can typically access Job Profitability data through the Projects feature, which is exclusive to the Plus and Advanced tiers, or by using specialized reports.
If you are using QBO Plus or Advanced, ensure Projects is enabled in your settings.
Here’s how:
- Click the Gear icon > Account and settings > Advanced.
- Select Projects, then Edit.
- Make sure the Organize all job-related activity in one place is turned on.
- Click Save and then Done.
Once enabled, you can view specific data in the Projects tab. Just head over to All apps > Projects. Choose the project you want to review. Select the Project Reports tab, then Project profitability.
Alternatively, you can run a Project Profitability Summary report by typing its name into the search bar under the Standard Reports menu.
