I have transactions that can't reconcile to my biz bank acct, because I paid using my personal card. How can I set up an "owners capital" source, or something like that?

Currently, you can't create a custom category in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). The system categories correspond to Schedule C tax forms and emphasize income and expenses, excluding equity accounts like Owner's Capital. If the transaction is marked as Personal, you can switch it to Business and select the correct category. I recommend consulting an accountant to ensure your records are accurate.
