I need to report my payroll to Worksafe BC, is there a report or summary that I use?
You're in luck! There's an extensive list of payroll reports that you can generate using QuickBooks Online Payroll. These reports help you with completing tax forms, managing your employees, and more. Let me point you in the direction of the summary you're looking for, as well as some other helpful reports.
Your Worksafe BC liabilities are tracked in the Payroll Tax Centre which can be accessed by hovering over the Taxes menu from the left, then selecting Payroll Tax. This is where you'll review your Worker's compensation liability balance and record payments once they've been made. To find this data in a report that you can export or print, you'll want to refer to the Payroll Tax Liability or Worker's Compensation reports.
Navigate to the Reports tab from the left menu, then use the search field to search for Payroll Tax Liability or Worker's Compensation. Select the appropriate Date Range from the drop down menu, then select Run Report. You'll see a small icon with an arrow as well as a printer icon in the top right of the report that you can use in order to get the report to Worksafe BC.
